Candidates have 120 minutes for the block and must earn at least 70 percent on each named examination.

Practical procedure preview
Bring one mannequin with at least six inches of hair and a mannequin stand. A live model is optional only for haircutting and the blow-dry/thermal/finish portion; the remaining work is performed on a mannequin.
